Mio DigiWalker C520

Mio DigiWalker C520

Bluetooth, text-to-speech, massive screen and good looks make the C520 a good GPS. Its great price transforms it into a great GPS.

Pioneer AVIC-S2

Pioneer AVIC-S2

The AVIC-S2 is competent but, aside from Bluetooth, there are similarly specified GPSes for less.

Nokia 6110 Navigator

Nokia 6110 Navigator

A good 3G slide phone with an excellent screen and sound quality. It feels a little cheap in places, though, and its GPS navigation is highly compromised.

Mio DigiWalker C220

Mio DigiWalker C220

A highly customisable entry-level GPS which focuses on its core task of navigation but requires a bit of acclimatisation to get the best out of.

LG LN800

LG LN800

The LN800 is a solid first crack at the Aussie GPS market with its good looks, light sensor and text-to-speech, but it may not be enough to tempt punters.

LG LN500

LG is hoping that this good-looking GPS unit with text-to-speech technology will entice you away from the established names in the field.
